This may be my favorite photograph, ever. No, really, I mean it Mal. Please tell me you didn't stage this, but happened upon it. Here in the non-profit world, that is EXACTLY how we feel these days.
It is probably noteworthy that this was in a storage room of an artists' collective studio, and artists being the "canaries in a coal mine" of contemporary culture are known to make statements like that. However, given where it was placed, it was far from a "display piece" but more likely a concept writ large with the materials at hand for an audience of few (or none).
The will to create for its own sake that artists exhibit strikes me as perhaps one of the most human of activities.
